Around Every Corner

RhapsodiecolorI am going to have to stay away from the computer till I get caught up on projects. Every time I log on, somebody has sent me something that I think I have to have. Look at these new fabrics from Ricky Tims. Did you ever? I found them in the e-newlsletter from Everything Quilts. I also found this Moda jelly roll and quilt design. Let me out of here!!!!

The plumber is coming soon to install my new sink. I'm so excited. (How many people do you know who get excited about a new kitchen sink?)

Yeah, those marketing people--they really know how to push a quilter's buttons. Seeing the vendor booths at IQF really opened my eyes--there are so many things to want. Unimaginable things. Lately (for me) it's thread. With the new threads that are out now, you can go crazy. As if we weren't crazy enough already...

I visited a shop this summer while on a trip and saw a jelly roll that I almost bought. The quilt made from it was called Tasty Treat. I've since tried to find the quilt book that pattern was in but never could even after contacting the shop again. Maybe it was because I REALLY was supposed to buy that jelly roll you have pictured. I LOVE the Christmas colors and quilt you posted more than the one I saw!

Me, for one . . . we got a new one a couple of years ago, and a new faucet that I can get a big stockpot underneath . . . AND new cabinet knobs, too!

I guess I'm just easily pleased.

You talk about excited----I went on a week of
quilting with friends and came home to not one
but two "tall johns". With two new knees that
was great. Arn't we lucky to have such wonderful
sweet and loving spouses?

I completely understand you. I have to place my orders from the US because here is three times more expensive. So imagine how I feel when I receive those catalogs with yummy fabrics, I want them all....and when I think I don't "need" (?) anything else, a new mail comes with new tempting fabrics. Oh, how happy I am when my orders arrive!!!
I saw Ricky once in The Nederlands. I was so excited!!!!
