My man, Bo Diddley, has had a stroke and is recovering in a hospital in Omaha. They say he will sing again, which is a very good thing. I love Bo Diddley. I have always loved him and his music. That beat has been imitated by countless rock performers. (No, Buddy Holly did not invent it.) It's a simple, but strange, beat--one you can get lost in. It's hypnotic.
Get well, Bo. I'm sending you lots of prayers and good wishes. Hope everybody else does too.

I sorta named my first dog after him... Bo Piddly.
He stopped at every tree and hydrant. Hope Bo gets better.
