So, Who Gets Whacked Tonight?

Tony_soprano OK, so I admit it: I'm a "Sopranos" fan. I have seen every episode of every season; and if humanly possible, I'll see the rest of them. This is the last season, they tell us; so there aren't many episodes left. The big question remains, will the show end with Tony Soprano still alive, or will he join his best friend Pussy, his cousin Tony, his nephew Chrissy, Chrissy's girlfriend Adriana, (and countless others whom he has either killed or had killed since the show began) in that great Bada Bing in the sky?

I'm not sure what my fascination is with mob movies and books. But I know when it began. Back in about 1971, I think, I discovered the book The Godfather. I thought then, and I think now, that it is one of the best books I've ever read. Also the movie "The Godfather" (the first in the trilogy) is on my list of top 10 movies. "Goodfellows" is on that list too.

So I'll tune in tonight to see who in the Soprano's cast might get whacked, imprisoned, or forced to "take it on the lamb." Want to join me?

Note: Viewer discretion is strongly advised.

I'm a huge Sopranos fan, too. Every Sunday it's a race to get dinner onto the TV trays by 6:00 so we don't miss a moment. Did you ever see a movie called The Mexican with Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts, and Gandolfini played a gay guy?

Hi!
The Soprano episode last night did not disappoint...though I have to admit covering my eyes and ears for the scene in the pool. I'll be out of the country for the final show. Can't believe it. I especially liked your post regarding "googling" one's name with the word "needs"....Thanks for sharing this results!

I have never watched a single episode of the Sopranos. I hear it is very good. I think what I would like to do is get it on DVD and start at the beginning. We did that with 24 - watching all five seasons last fall and by Christmas we were ready to start season six in "real time" :))

I got "into" the whole gangster thing the same way you did, and your 2 fave movies are on my list too. Who knew? I'm already Jonesin' for Tony and the family. I'm not sure I'll survive the end.
