I have mostly shown fabric art here, but I do dabble in altered books a bit too. (You can see more of my altered book art in my Picture Trail albums.) I discovered altered books in 2005. I have done a couple of books of my own and have been in several round robins. Here's a spread I just finished for Deb's book. The assignment was to illustrate a saying or title. The title was to be hidden on a tag or pull-out so that the viewer would have a chance to guess what it represents before reading the answer. Can you guess what my saying is?

Your spread is great. I'm guessing "Silence is Golden" or perhaps "Let sleeping dogs lie".
