Three down; 17 to go. I have to limit my time at the sewing machine these days in the interest of back pain. Even an hour or two means I have to lie down afterwards. But I refuse to give up. It might come to that, but not yet.
I had only enough white-on-white fabric for backgrounds on three blocks, so I ordered some more. Jesse just came in with a package for me, so I think that's it. I'm going to open it. If it's the fabric, I can make another cat block tomorrow. I already have the colored pieces cut out (purple this time) but didn't have any fabric for the background.

What delightful cat blocks and the purple on will be the cherry on top, so far! Hope your fabric was in that package. :-)
Today's high is to be 50*F, so perhaps there will be some real melting of the ice and snow. Hope so, after a week, it's gotten to be a bother to put on coat, hat, gloves, and boots to go outside. Then you had to also be careful and not break any of yourself by slipping on the ice and falling. Still, it's January, so 'tis the season for snow!
