What a Week!
Below are photos from my quilt bee meeting on Monday, the first one in two years. Try to ignore the deer head that is looking on. The meeting was held at Doris's; she and her husband are game hunters. They have heads and other pieces of critters all over their house. I try not to judge.
I've turned into a real homebody in the past few years. I prefer staying home as much as possible. But this week has not let me stay home much. Every day has brought some errand or appointment or club meeting.
Monday was Quilt Bee--the first time we've met in two years. First Covid put a stop to bee meetings. Then during the pandemic we just got out of the habit and had a hard time getting started again. I hope we continue with regular meetings (although I don't like going out). It sure was good to see everyone and catch up.
Tuesday was Book Club--We met at the church. Members Nell and Hope provided a delicious lunch, after which we had a great discussion of our book, SPARE by Prince Harry. Everyone seems to have enjoyed the book and learned a few things, including some sad things, about the prince.
Wednesday was Grocery Shopping--Many times Jesse does this chore for me, but this time I felt like there were some things that I need to pick up myself.
Thursday Was Neurologist Appointment--for tests on my feet and legs to check out the neuropathy problem. Lots of electroshock and poking with needles. It really wasn't too terribly painful. Just sort of nerve wracking. First of all I had a heck of a time finding the office, which is located in one of Birmingham's massive medical complexes. I finally had to call the font desk and have them lead me.
Today I have an appointment with my podiatrist--in just a short while, actually. I'm hoping she will be able to tell me something of the results from the neurology test.
So after today, I'm planning to lie on the sofa or in bed with Taco Cat and read. Maybe watch a movie or two. I hope I don't have to go anywhere else for a while. Oh yeah--there's church Sunday. Well maybe at least tomorrow will be free.
Note: I hope there aren't too many errors in this post. No time to check thoroughly. I have to go or I'll be late for my appointment.

I am exhausted just reading where all you've been this past week! Hope the podiatrist had news from your tests,
Love the quilts from your Bee and agree about all hunting unless it's for food that is needed for meals!.
No news yet from T's MRI this morning, will let you kn0w.
Hugs!

Is it just me, or does it look like the deer is gazing approvingly at the quilts in the pictures? (Tee hee!) I guess everyone and everything enjoys a thing of beauty.
