Baaaa

Sheep4

I don't have much to report today, except the last animal for my farm animals quilt, the wooly sheep, is done. Now I have to make two sunflower blocks to finish out the design. Then I can put them all together.

I hope it's a little cooler where you are than it is here. We have a heat advisory today. I think the entire summer should have been under a heat advisory. This weather is making me absolutely sick--and I don't need any more physical problems to deal with. Going outside is horrible--even just on to the back porch.

Jesse has lost more than 20 pounds in the last couple of months on a diet where he eats only meat, cheese, and eggs. I don't think it's healthy, but I don't think he'll do it for much longer. I just don't love meat and cheese that much. Have to have me some veggies and fruit. I have cut out a lot of carbs--no more desserts, cookies, ice cream, etc. I've been doing that since Jesse started his diet and have lost about 10 pounds.

I think I'll go make a sunflower block now.

What a darling and fluffy sheep and a worthy companion for your many other critters!

I so agree on the weather and the horrid humidity that makes the air thick and the high pollen that makes for runny noses and sneezes. Bummer and bother. A couple of weeks ago even though I have no respiratory problems couldn't stay outside for long but now the pollen count has finally dropped. Tomorrow is the last day in the 90s*F and thereafter in the 10 day forecast, it will be highs in the 80*s - unless something changes.

Seems I cannot be bothered to sew and that is annoying.

Hugs!
