Monday Morning Mouse

714oVOpUpNL._AC_SL1500_

The morning after Jesse released the mouse, I found evidence that another one had visited the kitchen. Or perhaps it's the same mouse that found his way back in. So Jesse set the traps back up and this morning, there he is, another (or the same) mousie trying to figure out how to get that cheese. The placement of the cheese sort of bothers me about this trap. It's situated so that the mouse can smell it but not eat it. I think that's mean.

Anyway, I'm taking this one to the city park, where he should find lots to eat and never be able to find his way back to my house.

Goodbye Mr. Mousie (of Ms. Mousie, as the case may be).

A park is the perfect place to release the mouse. Great idea!

I think you should leave the traps up for several more days in case you caught/released #2.

Hugs!

Never release critters close to home!! Guess you discovered that one on your own. If you live in the city, a park sounds like a good place.

you will also need to find the place of entry and fix it. The gap will not be very big. I have a cat. This time of year she can hardly keep up with the mice coming in from the fields around the house...!
