Couch-Ridden--Me and Taco
I woke up this morning with more pain than I've had in a long time--maybe ever. Back, feet, legs, everything. After I took my Gabapentin, everything calmed down except my back. It's the kind of pain that every once in a while causes a yelp. I've taken Ibuprofen, used the hemp cream that my sister recommended, and am staying off my feet. But the pain remains. I'd like to soak in a hot bath, but I'm afraid if I didn't kill myself getting into the tub, I'd never be able to get out. And I refuse to have Jesse come and help me out of the tub. So that's where I am. In remarkable pain.
I did get another Ukranian Sunflower block made on Friday or Saturday. I just haven't felt like getting back to the sewing machine since.
So at this time, I'm lying on the couch watching "Ancient Aliens." That kind of stuff fascinates me. I don't know if it's thanks to ancient aliens or simply past human civilizations whose populations and skills, knowledge, and technology have been lost to time. But there's some weird and interesting stuff on our planet that nobody has sufficiently explained. Makes me believe we just don't know everything.
As for Taco, he's doing what Taco does most of the time--chilling.

So sorry you were in such pain yesterday and hope you've felt lots better today. It's good you have such a cozy and loving couch companion!
Love your 2 Ukraine sunflower blocks. How many do you plan to make?
We like Ancient Aliens, too, and you've got to wonder just how some ancient artifacts came to be there waiting to be found.
Hugs!
