I got a few things done today. On my third trip to the post office to buy stamps I finally got my Christmas cards mailed. The first time I went, their scanner was down, and I didn't have any cash. On the second trip, the door was locked. It was business hours, so I don't know what the problem was. Today, I finally got stamps. I also got a little more shopping done.
The upstairs is still a wreck. I doubt the job will be done by Christmas. I'm not even sure it will be done by the New Year.
Tomorrow I plan take stock of my Christmas shopping purchases to see if I need to shop any more. Then I'm going to bind the one handmade Christmas gift. Then if I have an ounce or two of energy left, I'll put together treat bags for Andy's office gifts.
I also cancelled my doctor appointment for tomorrow. I finally gave up and admitted I'm not Super Woman and I can't do everything. I'll reschedule for after the holidays.

I just realized that I haven't decided whether my Christmas dinner will be on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Guess I better figure it out and let everyone know.

How frustrating to have to go to the post office so many times and be thwarted by this or that. I sometimes use Stamps.com to buy postal stamps and they have a huge array of stamp design choices, too.
No matter that upstairs is a wreck. It will get straightened out in due time and in the meantime, entertain downstairs!
Can you make your Christmas party a pot luck? Everyone will understand and it is your choice when the party will be,
