Bear Quilt Progress

I've spent the last few sewing room sessions making hour-glass blocks to surround the bear. A few more pink blocks for the last round and I'll be ready to start sewing them to the quilt. I'm hoping to have it done by Monday or Tuesday. Lena has my Brown Bag Challenge quilt ready to pick up, and I want to take this one to her. That baby's due date is getting close.

Too cute!! Will the bear's eyes be satin-stitched or appliqued

This baby will be so happy with this quilt for years and years to come!

About Me

Hi. My name is Susan, and I'm a lover of all things fabric related. When I first started sewing, in my teens, I made clothes. I learned to sew on a beautiful Singer treadle machine. I remember the first garment I made was a dress for the 4-H dress review when I was in Junior High.

In my 20s and 30s, I made almost all my and my children's clothes. I added quiltmaking in my late 20s, and gradually drifted away from garment making. I still make the occasional wearable, but most of my sewing time is spent on quilts.
