Ups and Downs
I got the "A" block stitched for the back of Baby August's quilt. Scheduled MRI for next Thursday. And land line phone back working after a week of no service. Thank goodness for my cell phone.
It seems everything takes so long nowadays. Almost a week after my doctor visit to get my MRI scheduled. Then another week before the MRI actually happens. At this rate, maybe I'll be getting the implant done before Christmas--and maybe not.
Fall is definitely in the air around here. I've enjoyed having my coffee on the back porch each morning with the furbies exploring the back yard. And at dusk, I go back out and sit a while and watch the lightning bugs flicker.
I doubt that I'll get any fall/Halloween decorating done this year. It just wouldn't be worth the pain, since in these days of pandemic nobody sees my interior except me and Jesse and occasionally Andy. Christmas decorating is also an iffy proposition. When the virus was waning for a while, I had big plans for family holiday gatherings. But the Delta variant put a monkey wrench in those plans.
I'm going to try to get a couple more letters stitched today. Thank you all for your comments on quilting the bear quilt. I'm still not sure if I'm going to tackle the quilting. I might beg a rush job from Lena.

Love the A and hope, if you don't feel like machine quilting the Bear quilt yourself, that Lena will see you blog and call to offer quilting it for you and at top speed, too.
Hope you got my email!
Hugs!
