I Cheated

Puzzle - 1

A good friend gave me one of those "mystery puzzles." You know the ones, where you have no picture of what the finshed puzzle will look like, just a short mystery story that is supposed to give you clues and help you put it together. I read the story and I read the additional clues that were printed in mirror image (to make it even harder, I guess). I worked on the thing for a couple of days and was getting nowhere.

So I went online and search to see if I could find a picture of the finished puzzle. I found one, and printed it. It's not a great photo, but it's better than nothing. Now maybe I can make some progress. About half the puzzle is brown, so I don't think this is going to be a piece of cake, even with the picture.

Making red beans and rice (with sausages and chicken) for supper.

Bless your heart! I forgot about no picture and clue in reverse image!
Still your friend?

I spend a lot of time putting puzzles together, but never had one like this. I would never be able to do this. In fact, I have never seen a puzzle like this.

Well done in finding the picture of the completed puzzle! In these times, who needs the frustration and the aggravation working that our for yourself?

What time is dinner? If I jump in the car and drive too fast, I might could make it. Oh, I'd probably only get to Knoxville by dinnertime. Shucks!

I'm about to press binding strips in half for the Winter tablerunner I';m almost finished making. Sadly, have almost run out of winter fabric, too.

Hugs!
