Happy Birthday, Pitter

She was born Patricia Ann Ramey in a tiny clinic in Leeds, Alabama. Our daddy called her Pitter. Everyone else called her Patsy (which she always hated). In high school, her friends all called her Ramey, and she has gone with that name her whole life. She is now novelist, artist, mother, grandmother, and my baby sister Ramey Channell.

Sisters - 1Three sisters--Joanne (we miss her) holds infant Ramey in July of 19--.

Fam - 1With our daddy. Ramey was about two; I was five or six.
