And Then There Were None
The very last rosette is done.
Today I plan to clean off my table of all the fabric I have piled up there. It looks like the fabric version of Tony Montana’s desk of white powder in the movie “Scarface.” I think I have half my stash on that table. I need it cleaned off to lay out the rosettes and start stitching them together.
After some thinking, I believe it won’t be necessary to make those three or four filler units. I think they’re necessary only if you’re going to trim and square up the top. I’m not trimming. I’m going to appliqué the edges onto a border. I don’t want to lose even one bit of all that work. If I find for some reason that I do need them as I put my rosettes together, I’ll make them then.

How exciting to have ALL of the rosettes finished and ready to sew together. APPLAUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love these little birds, feathers, and leaves and I know they're glad to have waited their turn to be included in this marvelous quilt you're making.
Enjoy putting the donor fabrics back where they came from so you have room to sew the rosettes to one another. Hope you enjoy this part of the process, too.
Happy dancing for you!
Hugs!
