Zooming and Stitching
On Monday morning, I worked on a millefiori rosette while we zoomed our quilt bee meeting. It was a small group this time, only six of us. Poor Sally has shingles and didn’t feel like zooming. Cindy and her mom were closing on a new house, Barbara has gone computerless (can you imagine?). Martha says her skills are not sufficient for zooming. Nancy was...(well, I forgot what Nancy’s excuse was). Rita could never get the video part of her zoom to work, so we could never see her, but we heard her.
No quilt guild meeting again this month. Zooming just won’t work for that many people. We all look forward to the time (if ever) that we can all get together in person.
But first, I’m going to have to have a hair cut and get some new glasses. I look like I’m sporting a Medea hair style, and my current glasses have outlived their usefulness. But I’m just not ready to do those things yet. I’m in the age group that health experts say is most likely to suffer death if they get the virus. And I don’t have my affairs in order yet.
Yesterday, I finished the kitty cat rosette (above). Today I will cut out the ninth and last one of this configuration and begin stitching it--if my hands and eyes will cooperate.
Happy June, everyone. Stay well.

What a cute block this one is! Well done in getting all of these finished so you're ready to start putting them all together - and it's just June 3rd!
We haven't tried zoom yet but am glad to hear that many of your quilt group could get together that way.
I'm still poking along on the Laundry Basket Mystery quilt that other finished in mid-April. I'm also substituting other blocks for some of the blocks in the pattern.
Hugs!
