I tried the wider spaced stitching, and it works fine. No gaps. But even so, this rosette took more time than any of the others. That’s because once it was finished, I decided the center was wrong. So in an attempt to take out the center and rearrange the pieces, I ripped through one of the pieces with my seam ripper, got rattled, and decided to just start all over. So I made a whole new center unit to replace the troublesome one.
