Paper Piecing Progress

Millefioriprog - 1

I have been working diligently on my millefiori quilt, but this is as far as I’ve got. It’s slow going. But that’s more than 100 little pieces hand-sewn together, so I feel pretty good about the progress.

They tell us the groundhog did not see his shadow on Monday, so we’ll have an early spring. I got news for Mr. Woodchuck: where I live, we’ve had an early spring all winter. I think temps got just to freezing for a couple of nights, but mostly they have been very temperate. Spring flowers have been blooming for several weeks. I don’t know about everyone else, but I think we need a little winter to kill the bugs and give the snakes a chance to hibernate.

Still no real relief from the back pain, but the six weeks is not over yet, so I’m trying to be patient.

What a lovely block you've created for your ambitious Millifiore Quilt! Applause, applause!

Out weather has been about the same as yours. We had a dusting of snow in mid-November and cold, cold weather in early December but none in the daytime since. AMIL's hyacinths are coming up, our cherry tree is in bloom, and I saw a robin yesterday. We'd like several really cold days and nights to - as you said - kill the bugs.

I hope the pain disappears as if by magic very, very soon.

Big hugs!
