It's a Mystery to Me
Remind me to never sign up for another mystery quilt challenge. I'm still hung up on Clue 3--or is it 4? Anyway, I can't get the points of my spider web blocks to meet accurately. So I've decided to cut fusible spider silhouettes and attach them to the centers so as to disguise my mess. I think most of the other participants have their tops put together, but I'm not sure I ever will.
Last night I watched the movie "Gotti" on Amazon Prime. I love mob movies, and I adore John Travolta. But I have to say I was a bit disappointed with it. John did a fair job of depicting Gotti, but that was the only good part of the whole film. The plotting and continuity were severely lacking in interest. Oh well, back to my 99th or so viewing of "Goodfellas," I suppose, until somebody comes up with the next mob movie. Maybe the next mobster to have a movie made about him will be---no, no, no, I won't say it.
All right, now, back to trying to get the mystery of the mystery quilt solved. Have a good late summer/early autumn Monday, everyone.

Looks good to me! I like your idea of adding spiders are strategic places. My first foray into pinwheels two decades ago had me adding a button to the middle of each pinwheel. Blunders hidden! Remember the bag of spiders you sent to me? I'm only using 3 so do you want the rest of them back?
Just enjoy the fun of this project and don't let those intersections bother you in the least.
Hugs!

Every halloween web needs a spider, otherwise it is just a string pieced block. lol. Very cool spider silhouette.
