If you've been watching the news or live in the Southeast, you probably know that we in Alabama have been going through another weather event this week. Although it turned into more of a non-event in my neck of the woods, parts of Alabama, even some places near me, got quite a dusting of the white stuff. When I awoke this morning, the roofs in the neighborhood had some sprinkles, but nothing like what we got in early December.
I was a little disappointed. You know how I love snow. But I could have done without the single-digit temps altogether. And Skipper says he could too. What if your bathroom registered a temperature of 10 degrees at midmorning?
Anna bundled up against the weather and came to clean today. It has been several weeks since we've been able to synchronize our schedules to give her a day of cleaning here, and The Yellow House is really needing her attention.
So Skipper and I are going to spend the rest of the day here in the sewing room making another doggie quilt block, while Anna makes our living quarters more liveable.
Stay warm everyone.

Every time the weather person says 'snow in the south' I picture you on your front porch, with camera in hand, and trees covered in the white stuff. But, even without snow, single-digit temps are COLD! Glad you are feeling well enough to sew and have a good buddy like Skipper to keep you company.

We awoke to about 4" of snow today and it continued to snow for most of the day, so now we have about 5". Tomorrow's''s high will be in the low 40s*F so all will be mush then.
It's day 2 of fever and aching for me but there are no other symptoms so I wonder what's up?
Hugs!
