And Santa Brought Me an Epizootic

Photo in Around the tree Christmas 2017 - Google PhotosFrom left, sister Joanne, me, Joanne’s beautiful Christmas tree, sister Ramey, and niece India (Ramey’s daughter). The three of us and nephew Jed (who is taking the picture) had dinner at Joanne’s house on Christmas Day. On Christmas Eve, daughter Andy and grandson Jesse had a delicious repast at my house. The cooking was tough, but the eating made up for it.

I have been very much under the weather this past week. Still, I believe I got everything done that was expected of me (and then some). The cold has hung on like a a monkey on a cupcake, and my back issues have not improved. But I did Christmas, trying all the while to not cough on anybody or their victuals.

Today I haven’t done much of anything except rest. I don’t know when the Christmas decorations will get put away, but I’ve decided to not worry about that. My goal right now is to see the end of the cold and make it till January 10 when I can see the back doctor again.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday week and a Merry Christmas with family and friend.

Bless you for making a bad situation a better one. I am sure your family appreciated all you did. May you soon feel better and have a blessed New Year.

Love the family photo and Joanne's beautiful Christmas tree!

Hope your cold is over soon and you feel better all over.

We've had a wonderful Christmas together with Z&L here from GA. Happily, both quilts were finished in time to be wrapped and under the tree - and they were well received, too! Will send you pictures.

Hugs!

Merry Christmas, Susan, and a very Happy and Healthy 2018. I loved seeing your Christmas Tree quilt on the previous post. I hope you'll be feeling better very soon and a good visit with the new doc.
