In the early morning, the sun comes in my living room window and makes little squares of warmth on the carpet. This is where Skipper likes spend his mornings.
But my Skipper takes care of his mates too. He has two favorite toys: Blue Toy and Tiger. I watched Skipper this morning as he came into the living room carrying first Blue Toy and then Tiger and laid them in one of the sun squares. Then he lay down in another one.
My Skipper is a good boy.

Oh my, how sweet our fur babies are. I remember when Skipper was a stray--it doesn't seem like that long ago. Now he has a home and friends and a patch of sunlight.
