Cleaning/Sewing Day
I can at least count on every other Wednesday to spend some time in the sewing room, even if I don't make it any of the other days. I have to get out of Anna's way so she can clean.
This (above) is what I've got done so far today, the first row, counting from the bottom, finished of Star Spangled Summer. Some of my points don't quite meet--but as Georgia Bonesteel used to say, you''ll never see it from a galloping horse.
I also got the binding sewn onto Rainbow Hearts and almost have it sewn to the back. I'll show it when finished. It will be my cuddle quilt for last year, a little late. Our guild year starts back next Monday, we skip August, and I plan to turn it in and get to work immediately on a cuddle quilt for this year.
Praying for all the folks in the Houston area, the folks in the path of Irma, the folks who aren't sure if they're in the path of Irma, the folks affected by the fires out west, our Dreamers, and anybody else who is in the midst of life's slings and arrows.

Well cone on all of the sewing you're getting done!
I'm chugging along on the blocks for DS2's quilt and it's mostly purples. Am pondering what quilting pattern would suit my young 30-something son?
Yes, prayers for all who need it. Amen and amen.
Hugs!

Those start blocks are fabulous Susan. I do love that pattern. I wish I was able to count on one day that I know I would be able to hide in my sewing room. I would get so much more done.
The hurricanes that are happening over the USA at the moment are so scary.
I certainly hope and pray for all who are in those areas.

I've always loved stars and yours are wonderful. I'm trying my best to get a sewing day...but haven't gotten around to it yet! Even with a new sewing space!
