A Morning Star Beginning

Star
I have all the block squares and rectangles cut out for Jesse's "Morning Star." This morning, I cut just enough background pieces to make one star to see how things were going to look. I think it's going to be gorgeous. It might, however, turn out too flowery for Jesse's liking. If so, I'll be glad to use it on my bed. I have a queen too. We'll just have to see what the effect is when it's finished. If he hates it, I'll make him something with fewer flowers and more footballs or dune buggies or something.

I'm afraid I'm going back on my promise to write about hanging sleeves today. I wanted to do some work on Jesse's quilt, then it got awfully hot in my sewing room, so now I just want to go downstairs and read where it's cool. Plus, I have a couple of loads of laundry waiting.

So I hope whoever wanted to read about hanging sleeves will forgive me until another day--probably early next week. Have a great weekend, everyone.

I totally agree with you... hee-hee... isn't it weird? we have never met, don't really know each other, yet, so many things you read and so many things you say are totally in conjuction with my thoughts.. so will continue reading and enjoying and take your advice on book reviews... have found quite a few new authors per your reviews, thank you, thank you.. take care and God Bless... love Jesse's new quilt and am sure he is going to LOVE it....
