My Cindy Lou Who Schnibble is pieced and ready for quilting. And I love it. I was afraid there for a while I wasn't going to, but I do. Now I want to make more Schnibbles. Good thing a I have a Carrie Nelson book full of them.

Yesterday, my book club hosted a "Ramey Day," the purpose of which was for my sister Ramey Channell to talk about her new book The Witches of Moonlight Ridge. Members and guests met at the beautiful home of our friends Bill and Nell to hear Ramey read from her book, talk about what it was like writing it, and sign copies. If you haven't read this wonderful book, along with its precursor Sweet Music on Moonlight Ridge, I highly recommend both. The main characters in both these books are Lily Claire Nash and her cousin Willie T. Nock. The adventures and sleuthing that these two "young'ns" fall into will put the reader smack in the world of growing up in the southern woodlands. You'll find edge-of-the-seat thrills as well as knee slapping humor in these books. Although the author is my sister, and I could be a little prejudiced, I don't think anyone has ever regretted reading a Moonlight Ridge adventure. Don't miss them. You can find them both at Amazon.com or check with your local library.
