On the Second Day of Christmas

Taco & Skip (1)

I just learned that not everyone knows about the 12 Days of Christmas. I guess that's because we in America consider Christmas to be only one day, December 25. However, that's just the beginning. Yuletide actually begins then and runs through January 6. Thus the song, "The 12 Days of Christmas." It's also the origin of the term "Happy Holidays" for Christmas greetings. It's more than one day.

On this Second Day of Christmas, Taco and Skipper decide to take it easy and rest up from all the family activities of the past few days. I'm going to eat cookies and read a new book--just haven't decided which book yet.

Happy Yuletide to everyone form all of us at The Yellow House.

Happy holidays Susan. I just adore your lovely chair. Did you, perhaps, get it from a national chain store. I live in Calif.
