I thought of him just yesterday, and you as well. The memories of that time remain. I am certain he was a wonderful man and husband. So glad you put your memories of Vann out there. Kind of sad if no one mentions our dear one's birthday or anniversary. Better to re-live some of our life and special moments. Maybe family around me are still struggling as well, or they are afraid they will make me sad. Gold stars to you for keeping active with your friends, with quilting, and with reading. Living life as one where there was a pair is a challenge every day, every year. You're carrying it off well. Keep up your quilting, reading, sewing, being friendly, as well as your blog for the new friends who have come along. You're doing well and also setting a goal for those of us who follow. Hugs...
