Why Don't the Syrian Refugees Just Stay Home?

Wouldn't they rather be in their own country? Someone asked me this. Here's some of the answer.

Add to that rape, torture, murder, fear, starvation, sickness. Would you want to stay?

I promise, this is it for my Christian rant. I'll be back to quilting, furbies, and fibromyalgia tomorrow.

Cheers for our President who has refused to cave in to those idiots who would close our borders to these people who need a peaceful place to live. Obviously, and so sadly, that is NOT their own homelands at this time.

Hugs!

I remember several years ago when everyone was wearing a WWJD bracelet. Maybe we need to bring them back.

There was an article in our paper that had a picture of an older woman, 105!!! Her 67 year old son and grandson had carried her on their backs for 20 days! There were 17 members of her family that made the trip to Greece. What is it? That, that is the only alternative you can see for yourself? I think this is the saddest comment on humanity we have seen in some time. That little face in your blog yesterday was something, makes you want to DO something.... It makes me cry.

This just breaks my heart. The pictures are sad but this goes on in their lives day after day, not just a "click" in time.

Well done for speaking up. I am finding it hard to read blogs that have ignored Paris.

Thank you! I am so tired of seeing diatribes against helping these people. The children break my heart.
