It doesn't take a whole lot to get me frazzled these days--and the past few days have been filled with activity. I wonder if I could have one full week of nothing to do but lie on the couch and read a book, would some of the pain and fatigue go away. I don't know, but I'm not going to find out today. I have to make my second trip of the week to the grocery store. I bought groceries on Monday, and already it seems we're out of everything.
I have a few photos from quilt guild meeting on Monday which I will post as soon as I have a few minutes to download them, a few minutes when I'm not already drained of every spoon in my spoon drawer and working on spoon credit.

Oh, sweetie! It's good to hear from you.
Could you give your grocery list to Jesse or to a friend and stay home with your feet up?
If you're stuck with going yourself, buy extra of every non-perishable, ingredients for several easy family favorites, and some Crystal Lite in your favorite flavors. We love mixing the iced tea with the lemonade or the peach tea all by itself. Then mark yourself on vacation (except for the quilt show) for as long as you need to.
Methinks the heat makes it all too easy to feel frazzled (love the picture!) and spoonless. Heat is utterly draining for me, too.
Hugs!

Oh, I know what you mean.... it's easy for me to talk myself out of going to the store, until the milk is gone, and the fur babies are out of food. Hope the remainder of the week is as pain-free as possible.

Yes, those "restful" days do help. On the other hand, I'm always thinking I have to move so my joints won't lock up.

Oh, by the way, not long ago I discovered Amazon's Prime Pantry. I order heavy things like detergent, dishwasher detergent, coffee, some items like shampoo, other things, and it's delivered to the door! $5.99 per really big box. So nice to have it delivered and not have to load in cart, load in car, load in house. Not sure if you have to have Prime already, but I do. Once I ordered and there was no shipping charge for some reason. Keeps me out of Walmart so much and relieves some of the lifting.
