My daughter Andy got me hooked on "Sons of Anarchy," and thanks to Netflix and my trusty Roku, I have spent most of the past few days on the couch catching up with the felonious doings of SAMCRO, brothers on bikes and their old ladies.
I did get moving long enough yesterday to have a great lunch at Carrabbas's with my sisters and my Handsome Nephew Jed. Jed treated us all in honor of his mom Joanne's birthday. We ate and discussed books, movies, tv shows, and a subject or two not fit to print.
I made it through lunch without too much pain, but it was returning with a vengeance by the time I got home. I guess my next move will be to seek out a pain doctor. I've avoided that move for a while, thinking of pain specialists as legal drug pushers. But, I swear, the past few weeks I have been more than ready for a drug pusher.
I'm surely not getting any sewing or quilting done. I did get the Christmas stuff all down and boxed up. The boxes are all stacked in the foyer, waiting for Jesse or Andy to have time to take them to the basement. These days, I do stairs only when absolutely necessary.

How delightful to be treated to lunch out thanks to Jed and a belated Happy Birthday to Joanne!!
I hear you about waiting until someone else can take the Christmas boxes where they belong. I do that, too, as it's work enough and tiring enough that by the time the job is finished, I'm done in or done for.
Isn't it lovley to have interesting things to do while sedentary? I'm reading again now that I've spent a good chunk of each day since New Year's packing up Christmas. I thought I'd done things more simply this year, but it doesn't feel that way now.
Here's hoping you find an excellent pain doctor. Since you live near a medical center, perhaps one of your nurse or doctor friends can recommend someone worthy. Hope so.
Wishing you a good week ahead.
Hugs!

LOVED S.O.A.!! But at times have had a problem with the violence, continued on for the story and the characters. There have been some stunners during the years and the final couple of episodes are surely right up there with some of them! But am saddened there are no more seasons. AND I guess there is no where else this could have gone, but was still very, very sad...

So sorry about all your pain. I totally understand. Hope you find a great doctor and sorry you have to change... The weather plays havoc... My GP prescribed two things for me and I have taken neither. I want to be able to know where I am. I've tried similar ones before and it's Lala Land Express. So - ice, heat, Aspercreme... Stay near the heater. Having an insole mold made next week - hopefully relieve some pressure off the neuroma. Thank goodness we can still read! Stay warm! Bless you!
