The Piecemakers Bee gathered Monday morning at the lovely country home of Doris M., for our July meeting. There was good food, fun, and lots of show and tell. Unfortunately, Doris's well lighted family room was not perfect for picture taking. Skylights particularly made lighting a challenge. But here's what I got.

Mary's Machine-Pieced Hexagons. Here's a tutorial for this techique.

Martha's Star quilt made from a jelly roll. Martha says a jelly roll will make two of these quilts.

Martha's Fiery ZigZag Quilt
(I can get the instructions for this if anyone wants them.)

Doris's Tree Applique, made from a precut kit from Nancy's Notions

Doris's Sunbonnet Kids
(Several years ago, our guild held a block-of-the-month drawing featuring sunbonnets. Doris won them, and this is what she made from her blocks.)

Our bee's latest Quilt of Valor, before the binding

Silly me, I just left my post to see the hexie tutorial and my post has disappeared. Oops!
Again, I am astonished at the creativity and talents of you and your fellow guild members! All of the quilts are wonderful, but Mary Grace's many tiny star points on her Masterpiece are incredible, indeed.
Loved the hexie tutorial and yes, I'd like the pattern for Martha's Fiery Zig-Zag quilt. Thank you!
What great eye candy!
Hugs!

I would also love the instructions for Martha's Fiery Zig-Zag quilt. I always enjoy when you share photos from your quilt guild!
