My back is still much improved from before I had the epidural. Not pain free, but enough so that I can get on with my life. And for that, I am truly grateful.
I don't know how long the improvement will last. My doctors don't know. Nobody knows. For some people, it lasts only a few days or a few weeks and for others months or "forever." I'm not going to look my gift horse too closely in the mouth. Just enjoy the respite from that horrible pain.
I went to the July meeting of my quilting bee yesterday, but didn't take any pictures. I do, however, have lots more pictures from the quilt show that I haven't posted, so here goes some more of them.

My friend Judy Cloe with her Kaffee Fassett masterpiece. See that blue ribbon hanging on it. It actually deserves two or three blue ribbons, if you ask me. It is one amazing work of art.
And that's not all! There are more. So come back soon.

So glad to hear that the epidural had a positive effect. Persistent, chronic pain can suck the joy from life....or more prosaically, just plain sucks!
The quilts are beautiful. Thank you for sharing the inspiration.

Each and every one of those quilts are gorgeous. I agree with you about the Judy Cloe quilt. It should hang in a museum.

Wonderful news that you are finally getting some relief from pain. Hope the relief continues for a long long time. If it returns, can they do it it (epidural) again? How often can they do that? I know it can't be pleasant but worth if if you get relief.
The quilts are all gorgeous, they make you happy just looking at them don't they?
The one by Judy Cloe is magnificent, that lady should be very proud. Just an observation, either Judy is very petite or that quilt is gigantic!!! I love the way the color of her outfit compliments the colors in her quilt too. I wonder...did she plan that?
Wishing you blessings,
Linda

The quilts are wonderful, but the best part of your post is the news that you're feeling less pain. I hope you are able to get on with life for a long time.
