Miss Bella still doesn't spend too much time on my bed. And Jesse is perfectly happy to stay in his own bed. But the rest of the household thinks they are co-owners of my queen-size. Sometimes makes sleeping a little tricky for me. God love 'em.
I had a great weekend. I didn't do much on Saturday, but I was on the go yesterday. Church in the morning; then home to enjoy a bucket of chicken (KFC) with Jesse; then some reading and a short nap; then to my good friend Sherry's house to help her, her husband, her family (including a gaggle of grandkids), and her friends celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. There was good food and fellowship and a wonderful memories-inducing slide show on the telly. A wonderful night.
I have to confess, though, that I haven't accomplished any granny-square making since my last post. I have a total of 50 blocks made. Ten more and I'll be halfway to finished with the blocks. So that's my goal this week: to make ten granny square quilt blocks, starting NOW.

Too cute! I suggest you look into getting two "kitty cups" as those are the sweet havens our two cats love most. They prefer them to sharing our bed except on the coldest of nights. Quite possibly, Soph and Skipper might like them, too, as kitty cups are very cozy.
Cheers for a good weekend, for a sweet celebration with friends, and good KFC! Your Granny Squares will wait for you while you play elsewhere.
Rainy day here, so I plan to sew the label in Roses in Winter and turn my attention to straightening up my sewing room some more. Wish me inspiration to find better storage in the small room.
Hope your spoons are in endless supply!
Hugs!
