My White Tornado Is Here

Tiny cup collection
This is my tiny tea cup collection. All my dusty do-dads will be spiffy when Cheryl is done.

I'm thinking of calling her Mrs. Clean. Cheryl, my wonderful cleaning lady, is downstairs removing dust and grime from all the do-dads, furniture, appliances, floors, and other surfaces. I, meanwhile, have been sewing away on the secret gift quilt. I'm almost finished with it. I should be able to deliver it to Lena to quilt by Friday, and I'm hoping she'll be able to have it quilted by the week before Christmas to give me time to bind it and add a label.

Sophie went for a grooming this morning. I had her there before 8:00, and she is already home. Usually when I take her for grooming, she has to stay all day. I was totally surprised when I got a call only about two hours after leaving her that she was ready to come home. I think we were the first in line this time. From now on, I'm taking my girl dog in early so she doesn't have to stay all day. She doesn't like it there, as you know. She goes to the vet's office for grooming, not Sophie Belle's favorite place at all.

Note to Dollhouse Quilt-a-Long Quilters: Tomorrow is show and tells day. So if you have anything to show, please email me a photo or photos to suscleve@yahoo.com and I'll post them here. I do have something to show this time. Not finished, but good enough to post. Hope someone else has made some progress too.

Thanks to Sandy and Lynn for offering to do a WalMart run for me to look for my block of the month background fabric. I received Sandy's offer first, so she's going to look. If she doesn't find it, I'll let Lynn know and she'll check out her WalMart. Thank you, ladies. What would I do without my blogging friends?

I need your cleaning lady to come to my house! I get a little done and take a break due to back issues :(
Have a good week!
Hugs,
Donna

Color me green with envy about Cheryl's wonderful attitude and cleaning energy! I so need her help, too, but realize the commute would be too time consuming for her. Sigh! Things were much more managable here before emptying my Grandma's home and my mother's home. Am waiting for my heartstrings not to be tied to so much stuff.

Love your tiny tea cups! Are they pictured in a bowl or in a regular tea cup? I have one tiny tea set and never tire of rearranging the little cups, saucers and teapot. My weakness is the charm of David Winter cottages.

Cheers that you've nearly got the Christmas surprise something ready to go to Lena!! What's next on your creative agenda?

Hugs!

I hope you remembered to steer that white tornado toward Lynn Avenue!
