The fibro monster loves this changing weather. He says it's the perfect conditions to wreak havoc on my pain sensors. Walking has become a chore that requires perseverance, a high pain threshold,and lots of things to hold onto.
And it's a conundrum as to how to deal with the falling temperatures. If I don't stay warm, the pain is awful. If I wrap up, wear warm clothes, or turn the heat up, I get so hot that I think I will expire. And the sweating begins. The only heat that doesn't bother me is a hot bath. And even then, once I'm out of the tub, the sweating begins.
Pooh on that old fibro monster! Pooh on pain! Pooh on sweating! POOH!
Sister Supper and Downton Abbey watching tonight. I think we're on Season 2 now. Season 3 starts in January in the states, and we're all excited. I'm making chicken and dumplings for supper tonight. Joanne is doing potato salad and veggies, and Ramey is supplying a Louisiana crumb cake. YUM!

I realize that Sophie and Skipper have suffered short shrift vis a vis blog appearances lately. For some reason, Taco and Bella are just much easier to photograph. They strike much more photogenic poses.
But I'm going to have to get the doggies back on here more. Sophie goes Wednesday for a hair cut and grooming. After that, I'll make a point of doing some photography with my mutts.

Sorry to hear you've got the aching/over heated miseries by turn. Bother and bummer! I wonder if wool socks, jeans, and a sweatshirt would keep the right parts of you warm so you're not miseable. A couple of years ago I got several pairs of wool knee socks to wear with my Birkenstocks (not very tres chic, I know) and they are just the best for cozy toes. Try the Foot Smart catalog on-line if the thought appeals to you.
Bella and Taco have certainly scoped out the comfy places to lounge! Looks to me like Taco is eyeing those on screen appliqued bunnies!

I for one APPRECIATE & LOVE the kitty pictures! Of course, I ALSO love & appreciate seeing Ms. Sophie & Lil' Skipper! What I HATE is the Fibro Monster. He's visiting me this weekend but I deserve it because I was stupid enough to think I could scrub the house, then move furniture all around from room to room. Brilliant, huh? I am getting exactly what I deserve. LOL! Hope you feel a MILLION times better!
