I have both my pillowcase finished! These are for a women and children's shelter that my quilting bee donates to, especially during the holidays. I will purchase two new pillows for the pillowcases, and two little girls (or maybe boys) will each have a bright and happy pillow to lay their heads on.

What delightfully cheerful fabrics and, indeed, happy pillowcases for someone or two to enjoy! Well done!
I read today that Petula Clark will be 80 on her Nov. birthday. I am depressed! Those schoolgirl days are really, really long gone, aren't they?!
Hugs!

Susan, love the pillowcases! Did you follow a certain pattern? I've seen several linkys around blogland for pillows. I need something simple for a newbie. I've love to make some for Christmas gifts.

P.s.
Regarding a supplement for Fibromyalgia.
I am kind of cautious about taking any treatment for my fibro and arthritis. I have researched several suggested tx. with over the counter meds.
Do some research on this product first and talk to a medical person maybe. I know your pain, and frustration with this disease. It is hard to plan ahead when you don't know how you are going to feel when the date comes.
I follow your blog and enjoy all of your sewing. You are special to me.

Love the pillowcases. I too like making them and recently discovered a new easy/peasy way of doing them. You might want to check out the u-tube tutorial by Jenny of Missouri Star Quilt Co. I think once you do them Jenny's way, you'll only do them her way. Hugs to Sophie and Skipper -besides my dogs they're my next favorite doggies.
