Yesterday, I finished the main part of the "Love Birds" quilt top for my friend's granddaughter's wedding. I'm going to have a friend who has a fancy embroidery machine to embroider the couple's names and wedding date across the center of the quilt in black. Then I'll take it to the quilter. Then I'll scallop the edges of the border and bind it and make an envelope/label for the back. So you see, I'm not nearly done yet, but I feel like I've reached a milestone anyway.
And I'm right pleased with it, except maybe for the size. You see, it's 67 inches square. I hope that's not too large for a banner. Well, it's what they're getting; no going back now.
I'm having lunch with a old friend from work. I haven't seen her in ages, and I'm looking forward to it. But I better run get ready or I'll be having lunch at Ruby Tuesday in my pajamas. Might embarrass my friend.

Sorry I forgot to send you my meager UFO finish but it will keep until next week when I might, maybe, and perhaps have more progress to report. One can hope!

Your wedding banner is so beautiful! The idea to embroider the couple's info is just perfect! I do not think it is too large at all. It will be a special treasure!
