Please Be Patient

I have spent most of the morning posting my blog entry with photos from guild meeting yesterday. Just as I was nearing the end and getting ready to publish, Typepad farted, as it were. It's gone. Every word, every photo. Now I'm just too frustrated to do construct it all again right now. Maybe later today, but maybe not till tomorrow.

I usually save a draft every few minutes while I'm writing a blog post, since this isn't the first time this has happened. But today I didn't.

Oh, I'm so sorry! I wasn't able to attend BQG since I'm in SC with my daughter, so I'll anxiously await your post - but take a break and do something relaxing in the meantime.

What a shame that Typepad lost your nearly completed post! I can only imagine how totally annoying that must be.

I remember how it was on early computers when you had to actively "save" every few minutes. We were at seminary then and somebody posted a sign by his computer that said, "Jesus saves!"

Do something you enjoy or is fun and relaxing before trying again. I can wait and will enjoy the quilt show when it's available to see.

Hope it's not as hot and humid there as it is here. Phew!

Hugs!

I hate that when stuff like that happens!

Susan, maybe you already tried this and it didn't work. But I wanted to mention it just in case. Since we have Typepad, I know exactly how losing all of your hard written post can happen. It's frustrated me many times. But...do you ever click the button (in the line-up of buttons just above the post) that is sort of a "retrieve last page" type of button? It's a circling green arrow (I think). Anyway, that will retrieve the page you were on before you saw the post GONE! It's worked for me several times, and I love it. Try it next time or do a practice post first to test it out.
