Yesterday was the April meeting of Piecemaker's Quilters Bee, held at Cyndi's this month. Below is a little show-and-tell from the morning.

I love this one (also Mary's) and want to make one like it. Mary didn't make it; her daughter bought it, but I didn't catch where, to give as a charity quilt.

Later in the afternoon, Lori came by to pick up Daisy and brought her quilt and pillow that she recently finished for one of her grandbabies. Don't you just love the fabrics? I helped her pick them out.

Lori has made huge progress as a quilter. I'm so proud of her. Her machine quilting is actually much better than mine. For some reason, that's one skill that elludes me.
I have so much to do today, and I'm getting a horribly late start. I'll never finish. So bye for now. Tomorrow I'll show you some pictures from our church's Easter egg hunt and petting zoo on Sunday. I know you're all on tenterhooks waiting for that.

Love the quilts in the photos you posted and thank you for the delightful eye candy!
Lori's quilt and quilting are great and just right for her (no doubt) sweet grandbaby! As much fun as Miss Daisy has with you, I know she was glad to go back home.
You know I'm looking forward to seeing the photos from Sunday!
Please keep your fingers crossed for me as I'm going to try machine quilting today. I have fusible batting and these are just the small wall hangings for my entry hall that I'm using for practice. I don't have the skill - yet - or a stitch regulator on my non-computerized sewing machine. Bummer! I need to quilt two larger wall hangings that are gifts, so I need to get good at this promptly. Aaaaugh!
