More Decking & a Little Bit of Pink

Xmas1

Here are a few more photos of the Yellow House holiday decor. Skipper has nested him a spot among the folds of the quilt under the tree, but I haven't been able to catch him with the camera yet. Sophie has hardly noticed.

Xmas2Ann and Andy are 39 years old this year. I made them in 1972 when my Andy was a wee little girl.

How lovely and gloriously festive your home is this holiday season. Raggedy Ann and Andy have weathered the years well!!

Did you cross stitch the Noel? I'll have to send you a photo of a cross stitched piece I framed titled "Waiting for Santa". I wonder why did I not keep more of the cross stitching I did before I left that behind for quilt-making.

Today I'll be working on that tree skirt and hope to get it together. After it's together, there will be lots of hand sewing before it's ready to send. Do you suppose I'll ever get past the crisis method of finishing things?

Hugs!

Love the
Ann and
Andy. When my first two were little they shared a room and that was the theme. It was so cute with yellow and white checks.

Nice that Pete gave you the flowers. ope you don't give up on him yet.

So many neat Christmas items. The Raggy Ann and Andy caught my eye as my mother-in-lawuse to make them and sell or give them away.. The ones you have look so like her.. The shoes wouldn't happen to be made of leather? She got leather and stuffing from her daughter that worked at Wolverine Shoe Co.. I 'd be interested to know as the face and clothing look damiliar also.

Everything looks so wonderful. So beautifully presented as well. The Raggety Ann and Andy brought tears and a memory of a dear friend who passed away a few years ago. She was also a master at creating this loveable pair that brought happiness to so many children. I have joined your followers list and would love to have you join me as well. Season's Greetings. Hugs, Gayle

Bummer, my comment just disappeared. I must be loosing my touch.

Everything looks so pretty and festive. You have fabulous touches of Christmas everywhere. I am going to have to look for one of those Santa toppers for the candle because my mother would like that.

Love the ornament with Vann's photo. That was such a kind and loving gift.

Happy Pink Saturday, Susan.

Good morning Susan, Don’t faint, it is really me. I have been so busy with a Christmas party here (35 people) and my Garden Club Christmas party (38 people) Not here but a big deal held at our church. I have been having a grand time decorating our home and enjoying the festivities of these two events. Thank goodness, now I can get back to my friends. I have missed my blog friends so much.

Your decorations are charming and festive. I love your raggedy Ann and Andy. You did a fabulous job making them Susan. Our daughter was called Andy (Andee) too. Her name is Andrea. This made me smile.

Happy Christmas fun to you and yours
Jeanne
