Where has the week gone? I have absolutely zippo UFO progress to report. All I have accomplished this week is to get my office straightened up and organized, get a hair cut, pay bills, mail two swaps, and lose another pound. Yeah, yeah, I know that progress too, and I am grateful for it. I also made six blocks for the secret Christmas present quilt, but I've decided I don't much like the color scheme, so I think I'm starting over on that.
See the photo above? I received 120 wonderful 5" I Spy Charm Squares in the mail yesterday from Sandra's swap. I've gone through them all several times. Each one is different. I haven't decided how I'll use them in a quilt yet. Maybe Snowball, which is quick and fun. Maybe just sew them together with no additional pieces--square to square. That would be fun. We'll see.
Oh, and guess what? This month marks five years that Blackberry Creek Home Arts has been in publication, so to speak. I can't believe I've been blogging a whole five years.
For several months now I've been wondering what I could do to mark the occasion. Maybe a giveaway or a swap or a contest. I'm going to try to be ready next week to announce something like that. Whatever it is, it will have reader participation and fun for all. So stay tuned.
OK, all you Little Green Quilters. I hope you have some to show and tell, even if it isn't a UFO. Add your link below and let us all pay you a visit.

I've lost the week, too, but doubt I've lost any pounds - sigh! Well done, you, on your weight loss success!!
Love the colorful happy fabric squares! Last year a friend sent me a Christmas quilt made from a multitude of squares sewn square to square and it is lovely. I'll send a photo of it to you. Of course, a Snowball quilt is a delight, too.
Happy 5th Blogging Anniversary!!
Hugs!
