Little Green Quilter Blogless Barbara has some progress to report this week. She has the bindings attached to her beautiful Irish Chain quilt and to another Itty Bitty Quilt for the alzheimers progam.
Barbara says, "I hope everyone will spread the word that these Itty Bitty Quilts can be purchased or won at auction at www.alzquilts.org and the funds raised go to fund alzheimers research in the quest for that needed cure. These quilts can fit on any small wall space or cubicle. Please shop at Quilts for Sale or at the monthly auction, be generous, and spread the word. Also note that the volunteers at the alzquilts site set the prices. The quiltmakers donate the itty bitty quilts."
Thanks for the info, Barbara.

No progress to show this week.
Your quilt looks great. I love the binding, it really makes the quilt sparkle. The machine quilting is very clever.
Barbara, your Irish Chain is lovely. I'll go check out the little quilts site.

Susan, your quilts have such an air of professionalism about them. The "Wild Things" quilt is so darling.
Barbara certainly has a winner with her "Irish Chain". The colors are especially pleasing. She seems to be doing a great job with getting those little quilts done for the program. Go Barbara!
Susan, have a wonderful time at the quilt show. It looks like you have several quilts of your own to show. I so love the one with the rabbits.
I have been struggling with getting back into the sewing room. If I don't watch out I'm going to finally have a UFO on my hands. The friend who gave me the "Grandmother's Flower Garden" blocks has cancer and I really need to get the quilt finished. But I've made two queen size Flower Garden quilts and I really am having a hard time wanting to do another one. I want to be making quilts that I had already planned out in my head, instead. However, sometimes we really need to do something besides what we want to be doing. So, I must encourage myself to get in there and sew on all those tiny hexagons.

You picked just the right binding for the Wild Things quilt! It sure is cute. I can't wait to see pics from the quilt show. I've linked up with my weekly progress! And I followed your example by posting my WIPs and UFOs on a sidebar on my blog. It sure is a good reminder for me to persevere!

Thanks for posting my progress once again, thanks for the many kind words about my quilts, and thanks to all who spread the word about the Alzheimer's Quilt Initiative.

me again ... I forgot to say that I love the quilting on Wild Thing. Such cute animals even in the border!
I'm certain I used to have a brain, but where/when did I leave it somewhere??
Hugs!

Hi Susan! GREAT JOB on the WILD THINGS quilt!!! Way to go busting it! And Blogless Barbara...your Irish Chain is so pretty. And only the binding left! Great job!
I did finish the 25-year old quilt for last Progress Report day but it was too hot on Memorial Day to get a picture of the family sitting on it to post this week--we ate inside! Hopefully I can post a picture soon if we pick a time that a picnic is doable!
The other UFOs are still being worked on at a snail's pace. Maybe I can pick up some speed this coming week!
