UFO Bust: Week 11 Progress

Charisma
Quilted by New Traditions, Birmingham, Alabama

"Charisma" is busted! I bound it yesterday, and now it's all ready for Andy to take home. It was supposed to be her birthday quilt but missed the deadline by a few weeks.

I also got the inner border strips (2" x 10 1/2") cut for the bunny quilt. I'm still working on my non-UFO project too, making little hexy flowers for a quilt table topper for my dining room. I now have a total of 10 flowers.

If anybody has been wondering what our CSN Stores Giveaway Winner, Jan, got with her gift certificate, here it is--a beautiful oak quilt rack. Those are her blue heelers in the picture. Jan sure lives in a scenic place, doesn't she?

I have book club this afternoon. We're discussing The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon. A very good book, as I recall. I read it a couple of months ago, and I hope I can remember enough details to enter into the discussion.

Now, here comes Mr. Linky for all you Little Green Quilters and UFO Busters to post links to your blogs for your reports.

UFO's, so satisfying when you complete one. Love your quilt----is it Snowball or a variation of Snowball. I have been trying to complete one UFO a month---so far I am on tract, will see what April will bring. What size hexi are you making?

I love Andy's B'day quilt, great finish. I linked up but didn't finish (but I am working on one) any UFO's. Worked on Church ministry quilts. Really like Jan's quilt rack.

Congratulations on finishing Charisma! I love the way you used the red for the the little lattice squares and setting triangles. Andy will love it!

Andy's birthday Charisma quilt is lovely and the fabric choices make such a collection of happy colors! Well done!! Applause!!

Jan chose well - great quilt rack and beautiful background scenery, too.

I didn't get any novels this morning at the library so perhaps I'll have some progress to report next week. No temptation to lure me into my reading chair, doncha know! Of course, you book list on this blog is another temptation ...

Hope you're having the glorious warm sunny day we're having!

Hugs!

Your Charisma quilt is wonderful. It must feel good to be able to have it finished and on it's way. I've been re-thinking one of my UFO's and it's going to go off my list because I have absolutely no desire to finish it ever........ I need to come up with something else to do with the fabric ear-marked for that project.

I bet Andy is happy to have that beautiful quilt ANY time! You did a wonderful job with it! Hope you have FUN weekend plans. My uncle just called & he should be here in about an hour. From then, it's going to be CRAAAAZY busy, but FUN, all the way through Monday the 28th! LOVE YOU! And pats to Ms. Sophie & Lil' Skipper!

Charisma quilt is beautiful! I hope finishing the 2nd or 3rd rewrite (I don't remember which) of my little novel counts as a bust.

I like that book, too! Your quilt is awesome! I'm so glad I had something to report this week for the UFO bust (I didn't last week!).

Found charisma quilt on pinterest. Love it! Is it just a 10 inch square made into a snowball and then set on point? Any idea if there is a pattern? Or can you tell me size of square for snowball? Thanks!
