Think women don't have power? Then get yourself into a room full of them, all praising God and singing his glory and you'll think different I bet.
Last night was the kick-off of the Leeds First United Methodist Women's Spiritual Conference. The power in the room was palpable. We heard some wonderful music from our praise team and a great solo from young Katie T. Our dance team overcame a sound-system glitch to touch us with their talent. And Pastor Judy left no one unmoved with her inspirational message.
A full day is schedule for today, starting with a continental breakfast at 9:00 a.m., starring chicken biscuits and cinnamon rolls. Then lots of good music, inspiring messages, good food, and door prizes. I wish you could all join us.
But since most of you can't, I suggest you take trip over to Beverly's Pink Saturday party and enjoy all the pinkness.

We're told to make a joyful noise, not necessarily a good one! All God's children have a place in the choir, doncha know?!
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs!

I don't usually spend a lot of time online reading blogs or article unless the are about football or cycling. So this quite the unexpected bonus to come across this post.
