Quilting in the Pink

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY

Pink Mosaic

Several years ago, I began collecting pink fabrics with the thought in mind of making a pink log cabin quilt. I now have three bins of pink fabrics--but still no pink log cabin quilt.

However, I went to my Flickr faves and found several lovely ones. Maybe one of these days I'll have one of my very own to show you.

Below are the links to the individual photos in the above mosaic.

1. Georgia's Quilt, 2. 036, 3. LILY'S QUILT - PINK LOG CABIN - Custom made for Lillian V. by DLQ, 4. Georgia's Quilt, 5. Repetition - Patchwork - 13/52, 6. Pink Log Cabin - sold, 7. Pink Half Log Cabin, 8. Pink Log Cabins, 9. Detail of the Log Cabin

I'm linking to Beverly's Pink Saturday Celebration. If you're a fan of pink, like me, you might like to pay her a visit and see all the pink treasures.

What pretty inspiration. I also love pink quilts. Sometime I'll have to do a post about the lovely pink quilt I made with my quilting buddy. I have a different pink one in the works that will have a diagonal setting, but that one is still in separate blocks and setting triangles yet.

What cheerful and delightful pink quilts to inspire us all! I've never made a pink quilt either but have made 3 that are pink/green - and two of those are on my UFOs list. Perhaps a pink quilt will be in your creative future this year?

Happy Pink Saturday to you!

Hugs!

Your mosaic is so pretty ~ so cheerful and uplifting on this cold winter day. I know what you mean about bins of fabric ... I have that "problem" too! I'm your linky neighbor over at Beverly's. It's a pleasure to "meet" you! Thanks for the inspiration today.

Love your blog. I am just about finished a wall quilt and believe it or not, my next project is to do a log cabin quilt... have never done one yet but heard they are easy.

I am glad I can see these only on the blog. I would want them all. So very pretty, and I do not believe I have one in pink.

oh pretty quilts. My daughter wants to give it a try and she has log cabins in mind. Maybe this summer. I told her we'd start with a square at a time and see how it goes, she is only 12!
Well, its Monday but I'm still making Pink Saturday rounds! Have a lovely week :)
