Sneaky Peek

Office heart I'm not finished in the office yet. I still have books to shelve, pictures and quilts to hang, and one dirty carpet to try and clean. But I thought that since you guys had stuck with me for so long with this project, that you deserved a little preview. So here are a few little peep-hole views of my new and improved office.

I don't know if I'll get much accomplished today, except maybe some reading. I had a very restless night. Seemed like everything was hurting. Not much pain this morning, but I am tired from the sleepless night. I've got a couple of homework lessons to catch up with for my Bible study class tonight, and I'm about halfway through with the book Amish Grace (on my Kindle)Maybe I'll take Sophie out in this beautiful sunshine and let her sniff around while I read.

Thanks for the birthday wishes for Jesse. Some of you made my daughter's day by saying she looked too young to have a 21-year-old son. I agree.

How beautiful, Suze! Your colors are lovely, and I love that little cabinet or stand in the second picture.

You need to hire a professional to come in and clean the carpets. It's worth the expense (which isn't too bad)to have it all done at once without wearing yourself out.

Love the sneak peek we got of your room. It looks like it will be so soothing to you when you enter. Keep up the good work.
I agree - your daughter looks to young to have a grown son - does that mean you look too young to have a grown grandson?!! I think so.

I agree, have a pro clean the carpet - they do a much better job and it dries much faster. It looks as though you did polish those bookcases as you had promised to do a few posts back. Enjoy your day.

Yout room looks lovely. What an achievemnt to have your room "remade". I agree you are far too young to have a 21 year old Grandson: Andy looks more like his sister.
Enjoy the sunshine.

Oh whow! It's looking awesome and you have such lovely treasures!!! I love all those little chairs and that "school desk" is absolutely wonderful! The walls turned out beautifully and I am so glad that those pretty chairs found a home w/you! Have to echo the others on Andy ... she looks like she could be her son's "younger sister!" Happy w/e! And Happy Easter :)

Applause, applause!!!!!!!! You've done wonderfully in arranging furniture, needed items, and pretty bits and pieces. Are're the bookcases, new chairs, and your sweet little chair collection looking great?!

I look forward to seeing the whole room when you have it finished. No hurry, so relax today, imagine the next quilt, nap, or read and feel better! Hope you sleep well tonight.

Your room looks decidedly feminine and I am so glad you kept the bookcases natural. They are needed to ground all the pastel colors and go so well with the little desk. Fabulous!

Susan! Look at what you have accomplished! I am totally blown away. This room will be the most beloved retreat for you, I just know it.
And everyone is right--Andy looks more like Jesse's cute sister than his mom!

I just KNEW that room was going to be perfect! Susan, it looks so beautiful & inviting! Now you should sit back a bit & rest, enjoy and be proud of what you've already done, and THEN finish up. (You DEFINITELY could have had a career as an interior designer, by the way!) LOVE YOU!

Love your collection of little chairs. Did you know I took an old school desk just like that one and decoupaged it? Had a blast doing it too!
