Bunny #10, the last one, is finished. I stitched him up last night while watching "Criminal Minds" reruns (nothing else to watch). No, I didn't watch the President's speech--the first one of his I've missed. And I'm sad this morning. War makes me sad. I think President Obama is the coolest thing since sliced bread, but he's no different from all the other presidents when it comes to war, I guess. Enough with the politics; back to bunnies.
I want to call this bunny Bad A-- Bunny, because he looks so mean. I don't know why he turned out with that disgruntled look in his eye. The bunny in the pattern just looks sort of noncommittal. I guess my bunny is mad because I saved him for last. Or could it be that he's reflecting how I felt at the time of stitching?
Next step in the bunny quilt is to make ten log cabin blocks--actually eight log cabins and one courthouse steps (a variation of log cabin). In the pattern, all the log cabin blocks are green and cream, but I might do mine multicolored. Haven't decided for sure.
It's cold, cloudy, wet, and blustery here today. Sophie won't even discuss going outside. Some people are whispering "snow" around here. I don't want to, but I have to go out. I'm out of coffee. I'm drinking my last pot now.
Molly and The Fly Lady claim that if I will work on my clutter problem just 15 minutes a day, I'll have a neat house in no time flat. Trouble is, I can't work up the want-tos for the 15 minutes. Anyway, at 15 minutes a day, I calculate it will be the year 2057 before I have all the clutter decluttered. Sigh.
I'm going to pour the last cup of coffee in my pot and open my Dec. 2 secret Santa Advent gift now. Wow! Listen to that wind. I think that last gust was at least 60 miles an hour.

Interesting how Bad A-- Bunny 10 does look a bit grumpy. Wonder if a few laugh line stitches would soften his look and attitude?
Can you drink tea until the weather improves? It's raining here, too, although the rain wasn't supposed to arrive until much later today. Since we had a tad over 9" of rain in June, I wish we could share with those who need rain or with ourselves when the summer is dry.
Peace to you, too!
Hugs!

It's raining here, too. Yuck! for having to go out. I'd push some coffee through the screen for you if I could.
My first thought was he looked a little pouty. He is way too pretty to be mean.

Out of ten bunnies I think you need one bad a--. As always, love your post, it's like talking on a picture phone with a friend.
Give the 15 minutes a try, set a timer, maybe it will make it seem like a game?
For some reason used to hate unloading the dishwasher, then I timed how long it took to unload it, it wasn't even 3 minutes. Boy did I feel silly, hating something that only took 3 minutes of my time!

Actually, I think he looks like my granddaughter when she rolls her eyes at something she thinks is weird...

He is a bad a** grumpy bunny! Amazing how just a few stitches can convey so much. It's not raining here but it's cloudy and kinda dreary. Won't rain until the weekend and then only a bit. Drought still reigns here so I wish we had a bit of your rain.

Oh the bunny is cute!
If I spent 15 minutes a day decluttering I would not be finished by the year 2075!
It is windy northeast of you too in Attalla.
Blessings

We are cold & windy here. LOVE IT! Possibility of SNOW on Friday! HAPPY KAI! But last night was cold and extremely rainy. If I could lie down to sleep it would have been heavenly. Sitting up in the rocker just isn't the same. Sigh! Now! I think ALL your bunnies are wonderful. Just wait - I betcha' once you get the quilt finished and assembled, you'll look at Bunny #10 and - gasp! - he will be smiling! Heehee! He just wants to be with all his bunny friends. And re: the 15 minutes a day thing - I wish I could do things that way but I have to be in the mood & have the mindset or I can't accomplish anything in 15 HOURS a day. You will get everything you want to get done when the time is right. You will! (Finally, DARN! I have SOOOO much coffee around here - wish I could reach in and hand you a container!) LOVE YOU TODAY (AND EVERYDAY!) You too, Sophie!

I didn't think your bunny looked mad or bad until you mentioned it and now when I look at him that's all I see! Hey, it will give your quilt some personality. I can't wait to see it! They are cute, cute, cute! Nancy in WI

Love your bunny blocks, Susan! Very cute--and that last one does look a bit angry (LOL)! Can't wait to see the finished quilt! Just 15 minutes a day, huh? I think that might work, but if we have an extra 15 minutes -- shouldn't we sew???

Yup, that is a cranky looking bunny. You need a bunny like that in your mix. I am all for it.
Have you finished Under the Dome yet? I am within a couple hundred pages of the end. Are the Ant People going to fry the citizens of Chester's Mill???? Oh dear, I must go read on.

Oh Susan your comment about how long it would take to declutter made me crack up laughing. I know the feeling well.
