From My Heart

Anniversary 1

It's not difficult to come up with something to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day. I thank God for the time he gave me with my husband Vann. Today is the 15th anniversary of our marriage, the second time that our anniversary has fallen on Thanksgiving. Happy Anniversary, Boo. I'm so thankful for you.

Dear friend,

AS you are thankful for Vann, know full well you added immense and unmeasurable joy and happiness to the more than 15 years you and he shared. I'm counting that time it took for you two to meet, to be drawn to each other, and to fall in love!

I'm thankful for blogs and the internet that allow us to make friends around the globe - like you!

Love and hugs!

What a beautiful, special couple! And Susan, Vann IS with you - EVERYDAY, but I know especially today. Sometimes I feel like I sound trite, but I DO believe you two will always be together. Allow yourself to feel the joyful memories AND the sadness today. It's okay - it's HEALTHY - to feel both. I'm extremely grateful for you, and I thank you with all my heart for being my sister-friend. Happy Thanksgiving!

God bless you!

Holidays can be the most sad. You've reminded me to be thankful more times than you can imagine. Your Vann would have been maybe surprised at that, but we do tend to take each other for granted; and I'm trying to be more mindful and express thanks to my Paul. Thank you for sharing your life. I enjoy coming to "visit" your little yellow house. Blessings to you... And you were a very lovely couple.

I know how you feel Susan. The holidays are so hard when you miss the ones you love. I know I thank God for the 29 years I had with my Amber. Vann and Amber are watching us from above and that gives me some comfort.
God Bless you and hugs

I showed these photos to my hubby and he agreed...we could be twins. I hope this doesn't make you sad but here's the link to a post I did earlier this year.

I wish it had been a full length photo because our dresses are so much alike and I have the same white hose and shoes! ( off white...lol)
We will celebrate our 15 th anniversary next Spring. I'm sorry for your loss. I know how difficult it can be to lose someone you love. I have always felt close to you and seeing our wedding photos makes me feel like a sister.
