Our heartfelt thanks to everyone for your comments, good wishes, and prayers. I'm too tired for much of an update this morning, and I need to get hopping and get to the hospital anyway. First, the Sophinator and I have to have baths. I'll try to remember later to tell you about Sophie's "Great Chipmunk Caper."
Vann reports that he had a very good night, had a walk this morning on Dr. L's advice, and was planning to take a nap when I last talked to him. He'll be having chemo at the hospital tomorrow. Still no word on when he'll be home. Dr. L wants him there until the pain and nutrition issues are under control. But maybe I already told you that.

Oh Susan, thanks for the update. Sounds like things are improving and I am so thankful. God is so good and He loves us so much. Take care of yourself and try and get some rest. You will both be in our prayers and thoughts today.

So glad to hear Vann had a good night and has been up walking. Thanks be to God! Hope the way will soon be open for him to come home.

I've been catching up on your blog since I've been nursing a broken leg for several weeks. You have such a lovely, creative blog; I think "Where Women Create" should feature you! I'm sorry to hear that Vann has had some setbacks. His photography is beautiful; he's very creative, too. I hope your "power surges" have less wattage. Thanks for the update. I'm glad he's feeling better and the chemo goes well tomorrow.
I had to smile at your previous post with the witch picture. I still have an occasional hot flash and I'm 72. I remember my mother saying she still got them when she was 80. Thankfully they're not nearly as frequent as severe as they were around age 50.
I'm praying for Vann and for you.
