OOOOhhh! I'm making a Flutterby quilt, too! I bought the kit before I stopped buying fabric for the year. I've only made a few blocks, I have fussy cut all those diamond centers, though. (That was time consuming!) Great to see you at QuiltFest.

Sometimes Typepad is cranky and won't accept comments regardless of how many attempts I make! I read it via a reader, so access is not an issue.

I think that people who are using the upgraded IE 8 are having trouble in general with blogs and things. I use Firefox and I have no trouble accessing or commenting.

i made (actually finished it too!) the flutterby pattern using Barefoot Roses by Grand Revival Design. it was a lot of fun and turned out quite well if i say so myself :-) i didn't cut the edge diamonds though--just couldn't do it--i ended up making another quilt with those "extras"--instead i made a template and made my own edging triangles to fit in.
